IRC WORK PACKAGE MANAGER
At Eni, we are looking for a Work Package Manager within Eni Iraq in Basra.

You will be overseeing the project execution activities up to the handover to Operations of a specific project scope of work, managing and coordinating a multidisciplinary team during different phases of the Project.

As a member of Development department at Eni Iraq you will be responsible for :

• Day-to-day management of all project activities, focusing on the criticalities that could impact project schedule and cost, and implementing necessary corrective actions to avoid any impact on the normal project execution plan
• Supervising and coordinating the execution of the work package, ensuring that the highest HSEQ standards are maintained throughout
• Ensuring that all interfaces between the work package and other work projects are adequately defined and controlled.
• Ensuring delivery of the project in accordance with the contract, including HSE/Technical integrity, performance, cost, schedule, company reputation, local/national economic development
• Coordinating with the Project Service Department the preparation of the weekly and Monthly Project status review.
• Reviewing/approving the risk register and the relevant mitigation strategy to address identified uncertainties
• Drafting new project internal procedures and policy proposals to improve the Project team performance.
• Evaluating and reporting project progress and cost trends to Company management.
• Assisting the relevant department with budget preparation and forecast, highlighting any overrun or discrepancy to Management.
• Reviewing, assessing, evaluating and timely recommending any Contract variations to Management
• Obtaining all necessary approvals and authorisations from government authorities to run the Project and for achieving any required certifications
• Reviewing/approving necessary work package certificates to obtain the hand-over to the Production department
• Being a proactive facilitator for interfaces between the assigned project and other projects within the area of Operations.

• Engineering degree
• Extensive Oil & Gas Industry experience
• Brown field & EPC experience
• International experience and Iraq/ME experience preferred
• Good knowledge of English languag e, written and spoken
• Experience in project management
• Managerial skills
