    I have done my B.com from Govt College Karachi & my MBA Finance from Preston university Karachi, I have been doing basic accounting job in construction industry since last 10 years, I have been using Sage 50 Accounting Software, My Overseas experience in accounts is 8 years where I was working with a local company as accounts Manager in an other city, I have been preparing financial statement as per requirement of Company but since there is no formal auditing in Iraq so I did not have to prepare proper financial reports,i was just preparing company required reports,So first of all i do not have good idea how to prepare a good proper financial report,2nd thing I got a job in other city of iraq i.

    e Erbil,here i am appointed as group finance manager of a holding company, this holding company is newly established(not even registered yet) and its subsidiaries also not registered yet, (all under registration process),

    My Job description is as follow.

    • You will be a key staff member of the executive leadership team,
    responsible for driving the financial strategy and performance of the entire
    Holding Group and its subsidiaries ("Group"). You will play a pivotal role in
    shaping and executing financial initiatives to support the companies.
    overall goals and objectives.

    You will:

    • Draft and implement finance Standard Operating Procedures and policies
    and manage every aspect of the finance Department.

    • Ensure that the Group conform with applicable regulations and laws as
    well as international standards of operation.

    • Ensure that the Group complies with internal procedures and policies.
    • Develop and execute the group's financial strategy in alignment with
    overall business objectives.

    • Manage the finance team of other relevant entities within the Group as
    directed by the Chairman.

    • Lead the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term
    financial plans.

    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for
    internal and external stakeholders.

    • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance and key metrics to
    support strategic decision-making.

    • Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate
    potential threats.

    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and reporting
    standards.

    • Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic
    partnerships.

    • Provide financial expertise in negotiations and integration efforts.


    Company is building a new ERP system so my first task is to prepare chart of accounts and cost centres for the company, and i did not do any consolidated financial statement before,as i mentioned earlier, i did not have work in such large-scale org before so could you help me through all these tasks for a period of 1or 2 months to grab the things.
