In my current position, as a ‘‘Cost Control and Budgeting Specialist ‘‘ I am put in charge of managing account finances to provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information. I work on Ensuring financial monitoring (cash, expenditures, costs, receivables, and commitments). I oversee accounts receivable and payables on monthly bases with processing invoices and payments. I follow up expenditures, costs and make sure they are in line with budget. I monitor cashflow and contribute in budget forecasting accordingly. Furthermore, I am reasonable for Providing critical assessment of all budgets and cost projection, Monitoring and updating cost estimates for projects to ensure that costs are within expected ranges, Reviewing expense reports to ensure that expenses are reasonable and appropriate for the circumstances, supporting the Program Specialists on the financial management of projects, Implementation of operational and financial management strategies and procedures,  Manage day-to-day activities as related to specific budget areas such as Entering and monitoring purchase orders and reconciling accounts, Monitoring budget transfer activity through the year to ensure that proper documentation is supplied and that transactions are properly authorized.

In my previous positions, I have worked in projects with financial inclusion components including micro-finance institutes and informal financing approaches. I have contributed to programme development, proposal writing, project management tools such as logical frameworks, work plans, and monitoring. I also have experience in working with local and international partners, local/government authorities, and donor guidelines. Preparing procurement requests and managing Purchase orders. 

I have both degrees of Bachelor and Master of Science (MSc) in Business Management at University of Kurdistan-Hewler. Additionally, I am studying diploma in accounting at British Institute for Accounting and Management accredited partner of IAB.
