  • Responsibilities:
  • Development and approval of Project Audit schedule and conducting audits to Check the Conformance of QMS.
  • Submission and approval of Project Quality documents, Inspection test plans, work procedures (including special process), personnel qualification procedures as per contractual documents prior to commencement of work. Follow up with concerned SAPMT/SAPID/CSD for closure of comments until final approval.
  •  Submission of monthly/weekly Quality system deliverables on time with accurate data as per Project requirements. This includes submission of the weekly welder repair rate report, Project weld status report, Tracer weld report.
  • Responsible for the QA/QC activities for welding, fabrication, NDT, piping, and structural works in compliance with ASME, API, AWS, ISO, and project specifications.
  • Full responsibility for development, implementation, and maintenance of Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Quality Procedures, and Method Statements aligned with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Expert in welding quality management including WPS, PQR, and WPQ preparation, review, approval, and compliance monitoring, ensuring adherence to approved welding procedures at site and workshop levels.
  • Proven leadership in managing NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI, Hardness Testing), including coordination with third-party agencies, review of reports, and acceptance as per applicable codes and standards.
  • Strong experience in inspection and surveillance of fabrication, erection, and site installation works, ensuring proper material traceability, fit-up control, welding execution, and final acceptance.
  • Effective in identifying non-conformances, issuing NCRs, leading root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall quality performance.
  • Material Receiving Inspection (MRI):
    Extensive experience in material receiving inspection for piping, structural steel, welding consumables, and equipment, including verification of MTCs, heat numbers, sizes, specifications, damage checks, OSDR compliance, and proper identification, storage, handling, and preservation in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
  • Hands-on experience in managing material control systems including MTC verification, OSDR review, traceability control, storage, handling, and preservation of piping and structural materials.
  • Skilled in managing RFIs, inspection scheduling, client and consultant coordination, and ensuring readiness for inspections through proper documentation and physical work preparation.

  • Follow up on Violations and Nonconformance reports and initiate pro-active measures to stop occurrence.
  • Monitor the QC inspector in their daily function and conduct checks of documentation and inspection/ verification activities.
  • Preparing & Maintaining QA/QC documentation.
  • Inspecting fit up to finish welding in each stage.
  • Monitoring the welder’s performance through repairs & controlling.
  • Checking pipe specifications & ensuring proper welding consumables are used.
