Due to requirements in the JD, I immediately applied for a position for which I believe I am qualified due to my numerous relevant skills and education. I graduated in 2016 with an excellent background in humanitarian issues from the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations. In addition, I have an excellent background in human rights and international law in general due to my education and professional experience. Thereafter, I headed the department of education and protection for almost three years. During this time period, I have designed, managed, and closed a variety of educational projects integrating child protection, PSS, awareness sessions, and GBV, with a portfolio of over 3 million. 
Besides, I can confirm that I'm fluent in three important languages (English, Kurdish, and Arabic), and I enjoy having excellent computer skills with its different programs.

My professional career began in 2016. In June 2016, I started my career as a daily worker or field enumerator with NRC. The primary responsibilities were conducting field visits to established shelters and interviewing beneficiaries, gathering their feedback, comments, and suggestions to be reported to the MEAL department. I was with them for nearly two months. However, in October 2016, IMC accepted my application for the emergency GBV team leader position. My primary responsibilities were supervising two teams in two camps consisting of GBV case managers, outreach workers, vocational trainers, gourds, and cleaners. Additionally, I represented IMC at CCCM meetings and coordinated with local authorities and NGOs/INGOs. I was also in charge of submitting safety, security, and narrative reports weekly to the line manager.
Additionally, I delivered GBV training to beneficiaries, and I focused on the capacity of the staff to fulfill project expectations. After almost a year of working with them, I joined IRC as a Prevention officer; first, a group of employees and I developed a curriculum about women's empowerment through field visits, FGDs, and interviews with many stakeholders to be appropriate for the communities in which we implemented the activities. However, my responsibilities with IRC were coordinating with stakeholders, local authorities, and key persons to prepare venues and invite beneficiaries to deliver sessions about GBV, gender equality, human rights, etc., to engage males in women's empowerment. Additionally, I created two groups of community members to replace us in their communities after the completion of the project.
To be mentioned, I delivered training to IDPs, refugees, and host communities in two different governorates, Ninawa and Duhok, and I covered almost 2,000 beneficiaries. Also, IRC selected me as a PSEA and safeguarding focal point for the Duhok area.
Thereafter, I joined Women for Women International in Erbil with the same rules and responsibilities almost as a men's engagement trainer. The responsibilities were coordinating with all stakeholders and local authorities and preparing venues to deliver training about women's rights, human rights, GBV, and gender equality. After four months of working with them, in July 2019, AFH accepted me as a project coordinator; at the beginning, I was in charge of managing a risk education project with a budget of 500K. I successfully managed 4 phases of this project. Meanwhile, the management team formally asked me to manage education and protection projects.

As a result, after joining them, I increased the portfolio of education and protection from 200K to around 3 million. So, my primary responsibilities with them were to oversee the projects by preparing appropriate plans such as MEAL, procurement, DIP, recruitment, risk, alternative, and closure plans; also, I was in charge of supervising teams, preparing budgets, concept notes, proposals for the upcoming projects, recruiting staff, and coordinating with donors, partners, and submitting reacquired reports to HQ, donors' partners on time, and so on.
Currently, I've been serving as a senior project officer with Catholic Relief Service since June 2022; in this project, I'm in charge of working with local NGOs to build their institutional capacities, such as developing their policies, strategies, mission, vision, etc.

I graduated from the school of international relations and political science in 2016. Human rights, international organizations, international relations, etc., were the major topics of study during four years. Participating in GBVIMS, PMDpro, sphere, Safeguarding, INNE minimum standards, etc., training courses and workshops allowed me to obtain recognized certifications throughout my career.
