    Overview
    • The ADPE-Service Desk Administrator is the primary point of contact for customer service desk support, responsible for addressing computer, printer, and network issues promptly.
    • Requires quick decision-making and precise task management to ensure unresolved work orders are assigned to the appropriate IT groups right away.
    • Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware issues, repairing or referring to repair facilities, configuring and repairing software for Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suites, resolving network connectivity problems at the desktop level, and more.
    • Additionally, may monitor Tier 1/2 server operations and performance, manage trouble tickets, and report outages to RNOSC Operations.
    • Excellent customer service skills are a must.

    Responsibilities
    • Provides immediate assistance to customers at the Service Desk, addressing troubleshooting, ticket submission, and information exchange.
    • Offers telephone support for incoming and follow-up calls for initial issue troubleshooting.
    • Troubleshoots Microsoft OS and Microsoft Office Suites issues, sets up authorized software, manages network services, and more.
    • Works within a team focused on continuous improvement, tracks and documents work performed accurately.
    • Installs, configures, and maintains various software and hardware, including DOD-approved communications software and network printers.
    • Performs maintenance tasks like server administration, backup/restores, system availability maintenance, and more.
    • Experienced in hardware maintenance and troubleshooting vendor server platforms.
    • Maintains antivirus/security standards set by the US Army.

    Qualifications
    • Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
    • Certifications: Candidates need to adhere to DoD 8570.01-M requirements, must hold baseline and computing environment certifications.
    Experience: The ADPE/Service Desk Administrator should be an expert in all functions of IAT Level I in a Windows environment, integrating and operating enclave systems securely.
    Working Environment: 95% indoor and 5% outdoor work environment, with outdoor conditions potentially exceeding 100F.
