Job Title:

Process Operations Trainer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Process Operations Trainer to join our team. As a trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training sessions to local Operations Technicians and Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver both theoretical (classroom-based) and practical (on-site) training sessions to trainees.
• Conduct written and practical assessments to evaluate trainee competence.
• Maintain accurate records of training progress and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements and Skills:

Education:

A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred, however, a Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience will also be considered.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery operations, ideally in roles such as Operations Supervisor or Senior Operations Engineer.
• Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
• At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs.

Technical Knowledge:

• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and other training tools.

Communication Skills:

• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident in delivering presentations and training to diverse audiences.

Personal Attributes:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable addressing groups and facilitating technical and hands-on learning.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
