- Oversee all radiation safety operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and standards
- Develop and implement radiation safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address any potential hazards or risks
- Provide training and education to staff and clients on radiation safety protocols and procedures
- Manage and maintain all radiation equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance
- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and their satisfaction is maintained
- Monitor and analyze radiation data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Manage a team of radiation technicians and other staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
- Participate in business development activities and assist in the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in radiation safety practices and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in radiation science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiation safety, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of local and international radiation safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Proficient in the use of radiation monitoring equipment and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
