- Manage the overall operations of the laboratory, including equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and staff scheduling
- Oversee a team of lab technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all laboratory processes
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate laboratory testing and analysis
- Prepare and maintain laboratory reports and documentation
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity
- Train and mentor new lab technicians
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices in laboratory management
- Manage budget and expenses for the laboratory department
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory guidelines
