    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced HSE Training Specialist to deliver comprehensive training programs for HSE Technicians and Engineers in refinery operations. This role requires a strong background in designing and delivering training materials, as well as assessing participant competence.

    About the Role:

    This is a freelance position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the oil and gas industry. As an HSE Training Specialist, you will be responsible for:
    • Designing and delivering training programs on critical HSE topics, including process operational safety, material hazards and handling, and isolation protocols.
    • Developing and implementing written and practical assessments to evaluate participant understanding and ability to apply safety standards and procedures effectively.
    • Facilitating training sessions in both classroom and on-site settings, utilizing MS Office Suite tools and other training software.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
    • At least 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on training program design and delivery.
    • Demonstrated expertise in using OSHA and EPA safety regulations to inform training programs.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage participants effectively in diverse environments.
