**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Project Manager to join our team at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial projects and ensuring their successful implementation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Develop and implement financial plans and budgets for projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives;
2. Monitor project expenses, track financial performance, and make adjustments as needed to stay within budget;
3. Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure effective communication and coordination;
4. Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth;
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with UNDP's financial policies and procedures;
6. Provide technical guidance and support to project staff on financial management best practices;
7. Identify and mitigate potential financial risks, developing contingency plans as needed;

**Requirements:**

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
• At least 7 years of experience in financial project management, preferably in an international development context;
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale financial projects, with a strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Familiarity with UNDP's financial policies and procedures, as well as international donor regulations;
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders;
