Samer Hameed

Academically, I've been actively involved in developing, planning, designing, and delivering educational programs. Also, as a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Science (USM), I have gained substantial research experience in the data science field in general and in the field of Image processing and Optimization in particular, providing me with a range of knowledge in various Optimization methods and data preprocessing techniques that will allow me to contribute toward your team's success. Further, I have studied and employed various Metaheuristic techniques during my PhD study and my work is successfully published in high impact factor, Q1 journal. I also do have the required knowledge in MATLAB and Python, Swift, Linux, SQL, C#, and Python. Moreover, I worked as a Lecturer at Al-Mansour University, where I practised my teaching ability in more than 10 undergraduate classes per semester, each with more than 40 students, in subjects of Computer Networks, Mobile communications, Micro-controllers, and Visual Basic programming language. Further, I gave private workshops in Research Methodology (RM) course to graduate students during and after my PhD study. Furthermore, I mentored junior colleagues in effective teaching practice. Moreover, I demonstrated the ability to supervise student research projects and contribute effectively to teaching. I conducted laboratory-based teaching/tutoring and performed BSc project supervision in Computer science, File share servers, Image processing, and Internet of Things (IoTs). Along with my PhD experience, my former employment developed my communication skills, problem-solving ability, thoroughness, and organizational talents, enabling me to thrive in both independent and team-oriented environments. I have the drive and discretion that you need, and the desire to contribute to something beyond the job description. 

As a team member in a research group, my published work took part in a project and was supported by the following (RUI) programme grants:

•          Development of Automatic Intelligent Karyotyping System of Classifying Abnormal Chromosome. Under Grant 1001/PELECT/8014030. 

I passed my Ph.D degree from Electrical and Electronic school of USM university of Malaysia in March 2022. I developed two techniques to enhance the contract of the image by hybrid optimization methods with conventional enhance technique. The developed techniques were tested on public dataset and a case study of chromosomes image from the hospital of USM university. Two articles were published in IEEE ACCESS of my my thesis.
