 Supervise all the activities on the early production facility and Well sites.
 Act as an On-scene commander in the event of emergencies
 Lead the HSE team members & emergency response teams
 Lead HSE culture and maintain compliance with local and international HSE laws, regulations & standards.
 Implement and maintain HSE management system, procedures and work practices.
 Ensure the workforce is implementing the process safety standards.
 Lead the HSE risk assessment process to plan and execute prevention and mitigation controls.
 Implement the waste management plan on-site and ensure it’s being recorded as per MNR’s requirement.
 Monitor control of work to ensure that all activities are planned and executed safely.
 Lead and maintain site emergency response plans and conduct training and exercises for the workforce.
 Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections and visits across all operations and contractors.
 Investigate HSE incidents to determine root causes and propose/implement actions.

I was reporting directly to Chevron Iraq - Kurdistan HSE manager.

Worked as:
-Construction HSE Advisor in Chevron Sarta (Erbil) sites and Chevron Qaradagh (Sulaymaniyah) site. 
-Drilling HSE Advisor during the drilling campaign of Sarta 3well.
-Construction HSE Advisor during ‘Early Production Facility’ construction campaign as HSE team lead.

Main duties:

 Evaluate the HES performance of the Contractor and site team using the agreed KPI’s and other means and recommended improvement opportunities
 Supervise and coordinate contractors’ day-to-day operational activities and ensure jobs are completed in a safe and timely manner by providing planning, direction, and control of all field jobs.
 Provide support to the operation and drilling team in HSE issues.
 Inspect and evaluate worksites to determine deficiencies and best practices under company policies and government regulations.
 Promote behaviour-based safety to enhance the company’s culture along with improving HES and Quality performance.
 Member of the field emergency response team
